I was fortunate enough to fly out to Denver at the end of July to shoot Megan and Thomas’s wedding. The city of Denver was awesome. No bugs. No humidity. The pace of the city is much slower than what I am used to growing up not too far away from Chicago. I am definitely planning a trip to visit Coors field. We were only able to drive by but I liked what I saw. This trip was the first time I have ever flown. I cannot say I was nervous about flying, but I was definitely nervous about flying with my equipment. I spent weeks researching the travel tips for photographers. It all went well with only a minor hiccup when my bag was stopped for a bag check. Enough of the rambling, on with the photos. Enjoy!
I made a trip over to Wheaton, Illinois to shoot Nicole and Jimmy’s wedding. We had a fantastic day to shoot. Enjoy!

I am extremely far behind on getting shoots on this blog. Katie and Evan’s wedding was this past spring at the Oliver Garden and The Woodward. Enjoy!

We had a fantastic day to have a portrait shoot. Portraits always come out better when the people you work with are relaxed and don’t try to force things. Our shoot was super relaxed and things turned out fantastic. We started out at one of my new favorite locations. I absolutely love the the look the of the tall field grass. However, I did not love the humongous spider that was crawling into my camera bag when I started to sling the bag over my shoulder. I am not a huge fan of the little eight legged demons. We then moved onto the campus of St. Mary’s and finally stopped at the playground for a few shots. Enjoy!
